Thales has extended the Lynx operating system from one to multiple processors on the same board with each processor running its own unique kernel. RedHat Entreprise Linux

The most promising platform for embedded computing is also the most disturbing for the software liability chain and established business models. Thales Computers has entered a hardware partner agreement with Red Hat and can now bring a unique industrial solution to deploy embedded systems in long term programs on all Intel-based hardware. The relevant Thales Computers products are certified and can be supported directly by Red Hat
ELinOS: Thales has qualified ELinOS from Sysgo, on hardware platforms that include Thales’ VCE405 connectivity Engine, PowerEngine7 and PENTXM family.
QNX Neutrino: PENTXM2 and PENTXM4 VME 6U Pentium SBCs support the QNX Neutrino secure partitioning real-time O.S. from QNX.
Embedded Linux: To address the embedded linux market, Thales Computers experts support multiple embedded Linux distributions on our entire product porfolio. Linux is also our baseline for large multiprocessor systems dedicated to data and signal processing (see PowerMP).
