
Repair Services:
Thales Computers delivers a quality product that will provide years of reliable service. We have established an efficient system to handle repairs in the unlikely event that a repair is required. Once repair action is determined to be necessary, a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) is opened and the product is returned to a local facility for initial evaluation. Problems that can be addressed locally will be corrected, and the product will be returned to the customer with minimal delay. This intermediate step can cut the turn-around time down to as little as two days. If the product repair requires more in-depth analysis or rework, the product is shipped from our intermediate facility to our central repair facility. There, expert technicians will diagnose and repair the problem using state-of-the-art test equipment. Expedited and custom repair services are available upon request. If you suspect a problem with your Thales Computers product, contact your local support center first. They will provide an RMA number and shipping instructions if the issue cannot be identified and resolved immediately. Be prepared to give the product type, the serial number, your contact information, and a description of the problem.
Warranty Information:
All new products ship with a warranty that covers parts and labor for two years from the date of customer receipt. In the unlikely event that a warranty repair is required, the two-year warranty period may be extended one time by three months. Products returned under warranty that are not repairable will be replaced. Replacement products will assume the balance of the warranty period remaining for the original product unless additional warranty time is purchased. Work performed on a non-warranty repair carries a three-month warranty from the date that the repaired product is received by the customer. Extended warranties are available for all Thales Computers products at the time the product is ordered. Under Thales Computers’ Extended warranty program, this no-charge repair service can be extended for up to five years.
Expedited repair turn-around time options are available for programs where the risk of out-of-service assets must be managed. Depending on the length of the turn-around time required, Thales Computers can arrange to accommodate any need by offering diverse service options from guaranteeing priority in the repair queue to stockpiling critical assets at a forward supply point.
Thales Computers can also provide a complete repair cycle history for all of our products starting at delivery with an acceptance test report, customized to your particular application and running through the entire life cycle of the asset.
