The PMC-6L is the first member of Thales' computers activities of multifunction Input/Output PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC). Designed to meet the requirements of compact, real-time systems for the most demanding defense and aerospace application, the PMC-6L is a result of the combined expertise of Thales Computers, provider of high-performance, lowpower SBCs, and of Thales' airborne systems activities, provider of airborne mission computers.
The PMC-6L features an ARINC-429 interface, a redundant MIL-STD-1553B channel, and, depending on the build option, up to 6 serial lines and up to 16 general purpose I/O (GPIO).
The PMC-6L exists in Commercial build (-SA), Extended-Temperature with conformal coating (-WA) and Rugged Conduction-Cooled (-RC) versions. A Rugged Air-Cooled version (-RA) is available on request.
A driver for VxWorks 5.5 / Tornado 2.2 is available.
