We were the first company in the world to deliver a PowerPC-based VMEbus single-board computer in 1994, and continue to bring a high level of innovation to the industry. The Ruggedizer™, a patented conduction-cooled heat sink for SBCs deployed in demanding environmental conditions such as extreme temperature, shock, vibration and humidity, was introduced in 1996. It has been recently enhanced and is now available on standard commercial-grade Thales Computers SBCs, allowing for "ruggedized", off-the-shelf products for harsh environments without modification of the base commercial-grade SBC. This reduces both project cost and time-to-market.
